Like a movie-soundtrack opening. Searching For Maria is very delicate, too short though! Maria is particularly haunting, it's just gorgeous. The harpsichord, high Liberation is such a layered, genre-diverse, masterful listening experience! The harpsichord, high strings, the beat, the bass, Michael Jackson -sample and Christina's powerful storytelling with her voice, everything is exceptional! I like how it kind of advances like a straight, long road ahead, it's like a mini-journey in itself, fits to the story of the track.
Especially love the drums, sonically. They're powerful and bring me a genuine stadium concert feel. Christina's diverse voice channels Janis Joplin. Fall In Line is extremely powerful, in every way. The message is greatly appreciated, lyrics manage to say something new on the topic of oppression and inequality, and structurally it works. Right Moves feat. Issa vibe! Like I Do: flute and pretty vocals from Christina! Love her riffs and Goldlink's feat.
Deserve sounds like Christina's voice is "opening up". Also love the melody and how it's structured, bridge really moves me. The harmonies of Twice are stunning, wow.
Love the piano. Musically it's such an understated song, but Christina displays different textures in her voice. Accelerate is such a weird track! I like it though. Trap drums and hiphop feel. Pipe feat. XNDA was a grower for me. It gets better with each listen. Feature works. Masochist is catchy! I found myself humming to it after only one listen. Love the 80's atmosphere. Unless It's With You is gorgeous, strong ballad! Overall, Liberation offers many surprising ideas and musical moments, Christina's evolution as an artist is apparent.
Kudos to this living legend, hope to hear new music sooner than expected. Christina knocked it out of the park with Liberation! There isn't a bad track on the entire record. The only thing that would have made it even better is if she included "Change" as a bonus track. Incredible album Cgristina Aguilera is a amazing singer Great Vocalist Off All Time Great songs Great Collaborations All songs is amazing Xtina is amazing.
Hands down already the greatest vocal pop album of the last year. This is music done right, in all it's forms and influences. Christina demonstrates a wealth of talent beyond any of the other artists in todays industry. I'm not surprised that almost all current singers cite her as their influence, she is amazing. Christina is giving me life with this album. I really feel liberated. Maria is my favorite track so far but others keep growing on me with every listen.
Pipe, Deserve, Accelerate are gems! Way to go X. Love it! Maria, Pipe and Deserve are my favorites. The queen is back!! Such a great album - so bold and creative and so worth the wait. Loved the diversity of sounds and tones to her voice. Will be listening to this for years to come. Ive never heard this artist before. But this, u should listen to, feels like a masterpiece of I think shes a true artist. Like right moves, like i do, accelerate, maria, ballads are emotional, such as unless its with u.
I jus wanna say i Love this album. Not sure this is Xtina's best album, Stripped and Back To Basics are two of the greatest pop albums ever. But Liberation is definitely on the seme level. The amount of original ideas on this album are insane. Christina easily gave us the best pop album of Too bad radio stations Not sure this is Xtina's best album, Stripped and Back To Basics are two of the greatest pop albums ever.
Too bad radio stations will probably snub every single out of this masterpiece to promote the usual banal and obvious songs from less talented artists. Despite it all, the iconicity level of Christina Aguilera which allows her to get to peak at 1 in 65 countries on itunes after 6 years of hiatus does not need the support of radios to resonate in the ears of anyone with good taste.
A legend is a legend. This is by far Christina's most creative and cohesive album to date. Her vocals and production make for an exciting and fresh album. Perfect soulful album, Xtina came back teaching us what real singing is!
Perfect music and lyrics! My fave is Deserve so far. Proud of her. I love that in an age of singles, streams, and downloads that Christina Aguilera still makes albums. This is a cohesive work where each intro and song compliments the next. If you want to listen to an album with great vocals, lyrics, excellent production, and versatility look no further than Liberation.
Christina Aguilera! Liberation is such a masterpiece! Thank you for being with us again! You know, Xtina just wanted to find herself, and I feel it from all of those songs. For those who hate it. This IS Christina Aguilera! I feel more of her soul in this album.
I think she is liberated now and she deserves success. Worth the wait! You can relate to the honest lyric and hidden messages and what an incredible voice, a true inspiration. You deserve this. Forever fighter! I'm not a big fan of pop music but this album was the greatest surprise of the past 5 years.
Evry song is a masterpiece, I really liked the intro and how it defines the whole album. Aguilera redefines herself as a pop masterpiece and vocalist who is never scared to play with different genre and experiment with her vocals.
I hope this album wins at least two Grammys next year. Well done, Christina. This album is a masterpiece. In my opinion it will be remembered as a Stripped 2. Thank you Xtina for this unexpected gift. As a longtime fan I wasn't sure where Xtina would go after Lotus - while not a bad pop album, it was below our standards of her.
Well, she proved me wrong. Liberation is a true return to form for Xtina, while also exploring completely new territory. Her voice sounds great and she sounds confident and back in "artist mode" once again. This new Xtina record is amazing. Her best one after BTBs and Stripped. Highly recommended. The best album of A travel in xtina's soul. You can find emotions, power, style..
Liberation sounds like a scream of freedom, every single track is a masterpiece. Congrats to the amazing Christina Aguilera. Her voice, her writtens, her melodies I was trepidatious with this album after hearing her speak about the sound of the album.
